Truth or Dare: Questions, Dares and the Scored Way to Play
Truth or Dare rules, café-friendly questions and dares, plus two ways to play: the bottle-spin classic and the scored version.
Two words, decades of tradition: truth or dare? Pick truth and you answer the table honestly; pick dare and you do the deed. Kafedeyim ships the classic in two flavours.
The bottle classic: Spin the Bottle
In Spin the Bottle players sit around a virtual table, the bottle spins, and it stops on the same person on every phone. The chosen one picks truth or dare, and the prompt appears on every screen. The showmanship matters: the bottle slowing down, the chosen player's screen flashing red… It's the pick for big, noisy tables.
The scored version: Truth or Dare
In the scored version there's no bottle; turns rotate automatically and things get serious:
- After your performance, the table votes: "did they really do it?" A majority thumbs-up earns +2 points.
- Passing is allowed but costs you: a chicken 🐔 badge and −1 point.
- Everyone gets two turns; top score wins.
It works with as few as two players, which makes it the go-to for couples and small tables.
Café-friendly truth questions
- Describe the most embarrassing photo on your phone.
- What's the biggest lie you've ever told?
- Who at this table do you envy the most, and why?
- What do you wish you'd had the courage to do?
Dare examples
- Tell the barista your best joke of the day.
- Talk like a TV commercial for 30 seconds.
- End every sentence with "sir/madam" until your next turn.
- Tell your worst joke — if nobody laughs, you go again.
The prompt pool ships with the game and never repeats within a room. You can also add your own prompts — the custom ones always get the biggest laughs.
Your call: spin the bottle or chase the points. There's no escape.
