How to Play Lowest Unique: Rules, Scoring and Tactics

Lowest Unique looks simple and plays devious: pick a number from 1-10; the lowest number nobody else picked wins. If everyone dives at 1, the 1s wipe each other out.

How to play

1. Everyone secretly picks a number from 1 to 10 (3-12 players).
2. Picks reveal simultaneously.
3. Numbers chosen by more than one player cancel out; the lowest surviving number wins the round.
4. Play the set number of rounds; missing the timer sits you out for that round.

Scoring and winning

The round winner scores +1; a round can also end empty when everyone collides. The most round wins at the end takes the table crown.

Tactics that win the table

• 1 is never as good as it looks — everyone does that math. But if everyone thinks THAT, 1 is free. That loop is the whole game.
• Play the table, not the numbers: cautious tables crowd the low numbers; bold tables leave 1-2 strangely empty.
• Never repeat a strategy twice in a row; the table remembers your last pick.
