Your Cafe First 30 Days With Kafedeyim: A Week-by-Week Plan
A calm four-week cafe marketing plan: register, put the QR on tables, read your two free counters, and only then do the honest arithmetic on whether Pro pays for itself.
Here is a cafe marketing plan for your cafe first 30 days that asks you to believe nothing. Four weeks, one small job each, and at the end you do the arithmetic yourself with numbers you control. Most of it is free forever. The one paid decision waits until week four, where it belongs.
Week 1 — Register, build the menu, get the poster on the tables
Start at /en/for-business. The form is short: venue name, email, country, city if you want it. No password — you get a 6-digit code by email, valid for ten minutes, and the session lasts 30 days. No credit card.
The moment you register, your venue gets a permanent address: /k/your-venue-slug. That slug never changes — deliberately, because the QR you are about to print onto twelve tables should still work in three years.
Then the boring, high-value part: the menu. Unlimited items, photos up to 5 MB, prices, up to 6 tags per item (new, popular, vegan, vegetarian, glutenfree, spicy, chef). One primary language plus two extras — three total, from tr, en, de, fr, es, it, ru, ar.
Be clear on what this menu is: view-only. No cart, no ordering, no payment. It is a menu, not a delivery app, and that is on purpose.
Now open the Marketing tab and download a poster — four formats in three styles (brand, dark, mono), rendered in your browser, no watermark, on any plan. Print, laminate, done. Want to see the finished article first? /en/k/demo is a real, fully populated example venue.
Week 2 — The three small wins
These take an afternoon and outlast every campaign you will ever run.
- The Wi-Fi card. Two fields in the Info tab: network name and password. Your venue page then shows both, a copy button, and an auto-join Wi-Fi QR. Guest scans, phone joins, nobody asks the barista to spell the password. Free on every plan.
- Your Instagram bio link. Point it at your
/k/page instead of a link-in-bio service you rent. It carries the menu, games, Wi-Fi and socials. - Your Google review link. Drop it into the links grid in the Info tab — on the same page the guest already has open, right when they are happy.
That is the whole qr menu benefits pitch, honestly stated: fewer laminated reprints, one link that holds everything, no password recital.
Week 3 — Read your two free counters
Every plan gets two numbers, always: tables created this month and menu views this month. Look at them at the end of week three, not before — a poster needs a couple of weeks to become furniture.
Ask them one question: are people scanning at all? If menu views climb, the QR is in the right place. If they are flat, the poster is somewhere polite and invisible — move it to the table, not the wall.
The honest gap: the hourly activity chart — which hours are actually busy — is Pro, along with top 5 games and wheel stats. On free you see it blurred. Fine to want it. Not yet a reason to pay.
The games run on their own, free. A table starts one from your page, plays taboo or any of the other 27, and it counts toward your tables number.
Week 4 — Do the wheel arithmetic out loud
Pro is $19 / €19 a month, or $190 / €190 a year (yearly is 10× monthly — two months free). No free trial. What it buys, all customer-facing: the gift wheel spinning for guests, campaign banners showing, your logo and theme colour, and the detailed analytics.
So the question is narrow: is the wheel worth $19 to you? You can answer it without guessing, because you set every lever.
Build the wheel now — configuring is free, only the spinning is Pro. Each reward has a label, a weight of 1–1000 (higher = comes up more often), and a daily limit (0 means unlimited). Rewards that hit their limit drop out of the draw. That limit is your spending cap, and it resets at UTC midnight.
Do the sum with your own cost, which only you know:
Cap a reward at N per day → worst case N × 30 per month → N × 30 × (your cost per unit) is your ceiling. Compare that to $19, and to the blank slices you put on the wheel.
A blank slice costs nothing and still gets spun. One spin per device per venue per day — and be honest, that is a UX-level limit, not an unbeatable one; someone who clears cookies can spin again. The daily limit is the cap that actually holds.
Coupons are 6 characters, valid for exactly 5 minutes, counting down on the guest's screen. A walk-to-the-register window, not a pocket coupon. Staff check codes at /en/verify — no login, four verdicts, each code redeems once.
The honest conclusion
Start free. Menu, venue page, Wi-Fi QR, all 28 games, the marketing kit, your two counters and the monthly recap email cost nothing, forever. That is most of the value, and for plenty of cafes it is all of it.
Upgrade in month two only if the arithmetic makes you smile — if your capped worst-case giveaway is smaller than what a spun wheel is plausibly worth at your tables. If not, stay free and keep the poster. Cancel later and nothing is deleted; your menu, wheel and campaigns wait for you.
That is the whole plan. Ready for week one? Register your venue — free, no card.
