How to Play Truth or Dare?: Rules, Scoring and Tactics

Truth or Dare? is the classic, scored and bottle-free: turns rotate automatically, you make your pick, and after your performance the table turns into a merciless jury — 'did they REALLY do it?'

How to play

1. Turns rotate automatically (2-12 players; works even with two).
2. The active player picks Truth or Dare within 15 seconds; stall and fate picks for you.
3. The prompt shows on every screen; you perform in real life and tap 'Did it!'.
4. The table votes on whether you really did — the verdict is instant, and the turn moves on.

Scoring and winning

A majority thumbs-up earns +2; an unconvinced table gives 0. Passing (chicken 🐔) costs −1. Everyone gets two turns; the top score wins and feeds the party-mode table score.

Tactics that win the table

• Half-doing a dare is worse than not doing it — juries never forgive halfway. Commit.
• Respect the −1: two passes erase a whole dare's profit.
• On truths, give detail: short answers attract 'didn't do it' votes; stories collect approval.
