The Cafe Owner Dashboard, A to Z: Set Up Your QR Menu in One Sitting
A complete venue panel guide for cafe owners: passwordless signup, your permanent /k/slug address, all 7 panel tabs, and the 3-step checklist to get QR codes on your tables today.
You can go from "never heard of this" to a live venue page before your espresso machine finishes its warm-up cycle. This is the honest walkthrough of the cafe owner dashboard — how registration works, why your web address is permanent, what each of the seven panel tabs actually does, and how to set up your QR menu without a single password.
Before you start, go look at /en/k/demo. It's a real, fully-populated example venue — menu, gift wheel, campaign banner, branding, the lot. Five seconds there will tell you more than five paragraphs here.
Step 1: Registration (about 30 seconds)
Head to /en/for-business and fill in the free registration form:
- Venue name (2–60 characters)
- Country — this one matters, because it locks your billing region
- City — optional
That's the whole form. No credit card, no sales call, no "book a demo" calendar. Registration is free and the free plan stays free.
Step 2: The passwordless login
There are no passwords here. Ever. Not "we recommend a strong one" — there simply isn't a password field to fill.
Instead you get a 6-digit code by email. The specifics, so nothing surprises you:
- The code is valid for 10 minutes
- You get 5 attempts
- Once you're in, your session lasts 30 days
So in practice you log in roughly once a month, and never dig through a password manager while a queue builds at the counter. Coming back later? Same email, same code flow, at /business/login.
Step 3: Your permanent address
The moment you register, your venue gets a public page at /k/your-venue-slug, derived from your venue name. It's the only search-indexable venue URL you get, and it's the one your QR codes point to.
Here's the important part: that slug never changes. Not when you rebrand, not when you ask nicely.
That's deliberate, and it's for your protection. You're about to print QR codes and glue them to fifteen tables. If addresses could change, every one of those stickers would die the day someone edits a setting. A permanent slug means the poster you laminate today still works in three years. Boring, unglamorous, absolutely worth it.
The seven tabs, and what each one is for
Once you're in, the panel has seven tabs. Here's what each one is for, and when you'd actually open it:
Dashboard — your landing spot. Two counters are free forever: tables created this month, and menu views this month. The deeper stuff (hourly activity across the last 7 days, top 5 games, wheel stats) is Pro-only and shows blurred on free.
Menu — the menu editor. Unlimited categories and items, free on every plan. Per item: name, description, price and currency, a photo (max 5 MB, JPEG/PNG/WebP), up to 6 tags from a fixed list of 7, and an active/hidden toggle. You can run up to 3 languages: 1 primary plus 2 extra, chosen from tr, en, de, fr, es, it, ru, ar. It's view-only by design — no cart, no ordering, no payment. It's a menu, not a delivery app.
Wheel — the gift wheel rewards editor. Each reward gets a label, a weight (1–1000, relative odds), a daily limit (0 means unlimited, resets at UTC midnight), and an optional blank-slice flag. You can configure it all on free; it only spins for guests on Pro.
Campaigns — informational banners for your venue page. Title, body, optional start and end dates. Think "Happy Hour 3–5pm." No coupon mechanic attached. Same deal as the wheel: configure free, visible to customers on Pro.
Info — everything about the venue itself: name, city, slogan, Wi-Fi network and password, socials, address, phone, menu languages, module toggles, plus your logo and theme color (those two only show up on your venue page on Pro). The Wi-Fi card is worth a special mention — it puts an auto-join Wi-Fi QR on your page, so guests scan and connect instead of squinting at a chalkboard. That one's free on any plan.
Marketing — your poster and QR kit, plus a website embed code. Four PNG formats (QR card 1080×1080, Instagram Post 1080×1080, A5 poster 1080×1350, Instagram Story 1080×1920) in three styles: brand, dark, mono. All rendered in your browser, instant download, no watermark step. Free on every plan.
Settings — plan, upgrade, billing portal, logout. Pro is $19/month or $190/year (€19/€190 in the eurozone) — yearly is 10× monthly, so two months free. There's no free trial, and I'd rather tell you that up front than let you find out at checkout.
The 3-step checklist that actually matters
Your dashboard shows a checklist. It's short on purpose:
- Add your menu — even ten items beats an empty page.
- Download your QR poster — Marketing tab, pick a style, download.
- Put it on the tables.
Step 3 is the one people skip, and it's the only one that does anything. A QR code in your downloads folder has never sold a single flat white.
While you're at it, /en/media-kit has per-game promo cards for your socials, and if a guest wins a wheel coupon later, your staff checks it at /en/verify — no login needed.
That's the whole thing. Register your venue at /en/for-business, grab the code from your inbox, and go put something on your tables.
